Red face can't pass emission inspection

I have a 96 Honda Accord EX that won't pass inspection due to the following codes showing not ready; catalyst, O2 sensor and EVAP. I've had both O2 sensors replaced and the engine light was turned off and then came back on. I went to Advance Auto to have it scanned and it continued to read O2 sensor failing. I took it to a mechanic who replaced the Catalytic Converter and he also check to O2 sensor's to make sure they weren't damaged due to the bad converter but they were fine. After the repairs were made they reset the check engine light instructed me to ride around for about 50 miles and the computer should reset. I've driven over 100 miles and tried to get it inspected and it failed again with the same not ready codes. I don't know what to do to get this car to pass inspection. How long does it take for the computer to identify the repairs and reset? I've run out of time for my inspection. Please help.

thanks

Clean your EGR Port. Then after cleaning fill the gas tank up and put in some Fuel Injector cleaner warm up the car and take it out for a spin before inspection. Take the car on a highway.. press down the gas real hard and speed up to 70MPH then slow down to 25MPH then hit the gas again and go to 70MPH do it a couple of times then head back for inspection.. that should pass ur inspection.

I did it to my car a 94 Accord 2 weeks ago and pass the Emmission inspection. Also have a clean oil change before u go.

It's not a certain time or miles. Read the linked thread for example for 2003+ Accords. Your 1996 is less sophisticated, but the idea is that it has to meet certain operating conditions for each of the "readyness codes" to set OK.
