Default Car won't start

I have a 97 Accord. It starts and runs perfect when I first start it up. If I drive it for a half hour or 45 minutes and then turn it off it won't start. It does not make a sound when I try to start it, all power still works fine. If I let the car sit and cool down for about 45 minutes it starts right up as nothing was wrong.....Any suggestions?

I had the same problem on my GS-T. Drove for like 10 min then wont start again... well what i did was get a simple electrical wire, gauge doenst matter, and connect it to the starter and then connect the other end to thepositve post, should start, if not then battery, and or starter is shot. Or even the starter switch.

maybe a bad connection somewhere? check for shorts. im no a car expert, im just a guy with an opinion. My car woulnt even start for a while, then my friend took a look atit and it turned out there was oil inside the distributor cap. a no cost fix. check through eveything yourself and have a car friend look at it. it will save you lots of money. i saved 100 dollars.

Look in the DIY section for things to check.

time to pull out the multimeter. check power at the solenoid first and work your way to the ign switch.
