how hard is it to change from a carb to fuel injection on an 89 accord LX? Is it as simple as a different intake and injection? and what about all the vacuum lines?

I don't know, but I suspect there's a LOT of stuff to change.

Other than just to do it and say you did it, WHY

Price out new plugs, wire, ecu,fuel rail, injectors, fuel pump and ..I'll stop there, mite as well buy a new car with the cost alone...
