I've had my '06 for a week now and decided to pick up a cargo net. I went through the instructions and I couldn't believe all the holes that have to be drilled in the trunk, including a 1" hole saw, to install the net. Two of the holes are on the side and four of the holes are in the floor of the trunk, but the instructions don't take into account that I have a trunk tray.

Now I was thinking of using rare earth magnets or using an adhesive and fastening the net on the sides instead of the floor and side.

Anyone have any ideas or try a different method of installing the net? Anyone follow the instructions and drill holes all over the trunk?
