I have a 2000 Accord EX. The catalytic converter is rattling. Is there an easy fix? or do I need to replace it? I found some used on ebay that aren't too expensive, but before I went that route I thought I check here.
At the same time, it's throwing PP1166 & P1167 - will replace the O2 sensors as well.

If the shield is broken it is sold separate from what I see on the Honda dealer parts lookup.

The shield can rust at the four corners at the bolts. If you see small cracks, get two drier vent hose clamps and wrap around the heat shield and tighten down. That lasted on my TSX for years before I replaced with new shields after the studs rusted through.
