changing tire size

Im sure there will be some difference being that far apart. Since the body style has changed, the offset might be different in order to keep the tires tucked in where the design engineers like them. Bolt pattern should be the same though.

Bolt pattern is the same as long as you're not talking about a V-6 car, I'm pretty sure the center hole is the same too.
1995 cars include some 14" wheels, which probably won't clear the brakes on a 2001. Wait, you're going the opposite direction? Should be OK.
2001 4-cyl cars have 4-bolt wheels. 2001 V-6 cars have 5-bolt wheels. If your 1995 is a V-6, then I'm not sure if it's 4 or 5 bolts??

i just picked up a set of like new tires already balanced and mounted on a set of 2001 accord rims. the rims are scabby and ugly but the price was right for 250 bucks. i compared both wheels and measured from the edge of the rim to the mounting surface and the 2001 rims are about 1/4 inch deeper, it dosent sound like much and hopefully its insignificant. the stock tires are 205/60/15 and the new set is 205/65/15 and as far as i can tell they arent rubbing.
