Check Engine, Headlight

Hello I was driving home form New York back to Wisconsin. My check engine light came on and then when I stoped I noticed the headlight was out. Would that have anything to do with the check engine light? I know both lights were working before the check engine light came on. I have a 1998 Honda Accord Coupe EX, with the VTEC

Actually, check the fuse box close to the engine, replace broken fuse and then check light... happened to me once!
