The child lock seems to be broken in the locked position. I flip the little lever on and off, and no matter which position it is in, I still can't open the back door from the inside. Is there a way to bypass this so I can open from inside?? Thanks

 

Maybe the linkage came apart inside the door?
Theres long rods connecting the inside lever to the latch. If they come off, its not related to the child-lock lever.
