Default cig lighter fuse keeps blowing

I have a 96 v6 and the cd player, cig lighter, and clock fuse keeps blowing. i know there is too much resistance in the circuit but i cant find the ground to start there a work back trough the circuit.

Also all my windows are so slow. Is it the motors or a bigger electrical problem.

Default cig\radio fuse

my 95 was blowing the fuse also. no prob with the radio, but if i used the lighter, it pops the fuse every time. but the cell phone charger did'nt blow the fuse. got a new cig lighter out of the junk yard, no more blown fuse

Default cig lighter fuse

yeah thats exactly what mine was doing and i just put a 20 amp fuse instead of the 7.5 amp that was in it even though i know that could potentially blow the whole circuit. but thanks ill look into getting a new lighter

Get a new lighter.

Putting a higher amp fuse can cause some major problems to any electrical systems that it should protect.
