Clacking noise when cold at first start up.
the engine has a clacking noise when I start the car first time in the morning or any time I start my car for the first time at the day, and that sound takes up to the cars warms up to go away, like 5 minutes totally.
have you guys have any experience with this issue?
it's a HONDA ACCORD 2009 EX-L V6 3.5L
thanks in advanced.

That's my exact year and engine what I hear when it's cold at startup is I believe to be the starter it makes an ungodly "screeching" which is actually well documented all over the web as an issue with these cars. It is only at startup and doesn't last five minutes though and also stops for good (for that day anyway) once the car is warmed up. Can you pin point the location of the noise, I'm (guessing) maybe the pulley(s)? Try googling "2009 Accord noise at startup" you'll have lots of hits and maybe find something there.. That's where my exact noise was on a you tube video someone on this site led me to it.

Loose valves are a possibility. These engines require a periodic valve adjustment due to exhaust valves getting too tight and causing missing. Several good videos on youtube on this subject.
A loose bearing on a serpentine belt idler might cause a startup noise.
I recently adjusted valves on 03 Acura MDX (3.5L V6) and found 2 exhaust valves significantly out of spec, although it was not missing.
I had starter noise on the 03 MDX also, and removed starter, lubed pinion slide, and reinstalled to fix screeching noise.
good luck
