Clear Coat Refinish

Clear Coat Refinish
I have a 2012 Honda Accord EX-L 2 dr V6 with 2000 miles and I noticed the paint was chipping in the left rear quarter panel, which was caused by the tail light lens rubbing against the metal.
The dealership sent it out twice to the body shop and was unsuccessful. They are now taking the car to another body shop for them to repair the paint, and when I talked to the person at the body shop, they told me that they will blend the paint in the affected area and reapply the clear coat to the entire quarter panel, because clear coat cannot be blended.
Questions:
1) Will I be able to notice the difference between their clear coat and the factory clear coat?
2) How will they handle the clear coat transition into the door jams?
3) Will there be over spray in the door jam?
4) If the door jam is taped, will I be able to see a line where the new clear coat ends and where the factory clear coat starts?
I appreciate your help.

I am assuming they will put new clear coat on the section they repair so the new paint is even with the original paint. They will probably sand the entire quarter panel with fine sandpaper to rough up the clear coat. Then they will spray clear coat on the entire panel, so it looks even.
You will have to inspect their work to see if looks good.
