I have a 2010 Accord....have a ping sound coming from my trunk area... had others drive and layed in trunk but unable to determine where it is coming from..it sounds like it is pinging from the inside of trunk near around the license plate area. i have lubricated and taped down the seat release and inside trunk release and every other possible spot with no luck. The noise does not happen on bumps but just on certain indentations in the road. It pings occasionally but quite often which is real annoying. i checked eveything including the spare with no luck. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to troubleshoot or fix this problem...this is not due to the radio as t is off. please help

 

Can't remember but some of the Accords had a "rattle" that cam from the package shelf, my memory tells me there were some rods that would rattle against it

 

I have Accord 2016 that I bought back in october. everything else is running great except there is clicking or fluttering noise coming from around the passenger dashboard area. Cant figure out what it is. Very irritating when you are driving and this constant krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr noise comes from the passenger side. Any idea what it could be? I took it to the dealer and they cant seem to hear it and I cant seem to duplicate the noise everytime I take it to the dealer. Need help. Thanks
