Default Clicking relay passenger side

Need some help here. My daughter's 2000 Accord has a clicking relay on the passenger side and will not start. The sound is louder inside under the dash by the passenger side fuse panel than it is outside by the main realay box. The clicking stops when the Back Up ACC fuse is pulled. When she tries to start it all lights go very dim like the battery is dead and nothing happens. The battery has been replaced with a brand new one. Anybody got a clue as to what the heck is causing this?

The battery may be discharged due to a faulty alternator. Even though it is a new battery, if the alternator is bad it won't properly charged to battery. Get a jump start, then get the battery and alternator checked for free at Autozone, O'reilly's, etc.

So the battery cables have been cleaned when the new battery was installed last night. Also tried jump starting the car with both the old and new battery installed. Car won't even turn over even with a brand new battery installed and jumper cables hooked up.

When the new battery was first installed, did the car start? (This is before any jumping of new battery.)

Have you check the fuses under the hood, including the large fuses?

Own a volt meter? Is this a 4 or 6 cyl, auto or manual?
