this is my first real post - i hope someone can give me a lil info -i have a lovey 2001 1.8i accord - the clocklight stopped working recently, i thought it would just be a case of taking the clock out and replacing the bulb but after a few hours of trying to see a way of getting it out i had to phone a dealer -they told me i'd have to bring it in because the whole dash would have to come out.

the biggest joke is the price - the bulb itself is £3 but they would charge £45-£55 for labour [:@]- since then i have just been eating extra carrots so i can see the clock in the dark. if anyone knows a cheap easy way to get to the bulb in my car i would really be grateful.

A guy can only eat so much carrots!!!!!!

thanx alot - i think i will take it to my old garage and only use da dealer for main service stuff - jus so they can stamp the book - they really r a rip off
