Are you referring to the steel line? If so, I would suggest replacing it with new instead of salvaging one. Who knows but that one could be bad or about to fail. Just my $0.02.

Oh, and make sure you use line wrenches on those fittings! They'll strip pretty easily if you try doing it with a regular open-end wrench.
