Default clutch or transmission?

I was driving a 1985 honda accord 4cyl. f1 in 1st gear and it popped out of gear. Now it won't move in any gear and has problems getting into some gears. My question is .... Is it the clutch or the transmission? You can shift into any gear without applying the clutch. All gears act like nuetral. No movement on speedometer, RPM'S register normal.

What won't move?

Which gears can you shift into (just in terms of gearshift lever)?
Which won't go?

Put it in any gear, let up the clutch pedal, & rev the engine a bit. Does the speedometer move?

It shifts into every gear but acts like neutral. rpms move, speedometer doesn't.

OK I was thinking maybe the axle popped out from the trans. If that was the case, your speedometer would still move.

Do the shift gates "feel" normal? Or does it feel like you can move the stick every which way?

Take a look at the movement of the shift cables on top of the transmission while someone shifts. Anything look like it's coming apart?

it feels normal. it feels like its shifting without the clutch, but the car doesnt move or stall.it seems like neutral in every gear.

I don't think it is the clutch as usually your vehicle will still try to move a little, and that won’t make it pop out of gear.

Default Kris help me please

We removed the transmission and the clutch. Is there anything we can do now to check them now that we got them off?

Spin the input shaft in the Trans and see if the half shaft spines for the axles move just make sure it is in gear. What does the clutch disc look like? To not move it would have to be pretty bad.
