Default Clutch went dry HELP!

So my clutch went dry and the bandaid will no longer work. Basically clutch system runs dry and when you go to push the clutch in it stays in and wont work. I use to be able to loosen bleeder valve on slave cyclinder and pump fluid thru system until clutch was stronger then close the valve and it would work for another week or so, doesnt work anymore. What do I need to replace? I usually dont deal with clutches but know my way around a car so am easy to tell to do things. Do I replace plumbing from resevoir to cyclinder or replace cyclinder? Or replace everything to do with clutch since the car has 169,XXX miles on it?? Please help!

Find the source of the leak and repair that part. The line is usually pretty sturdy IMO, check for fluid below the slave or the master cylinder.

Also look inside of the car from where the push-rod coming from the clutch pedal connects to the master cylinder.

After you go dash diving and find the fluid drip from the back of the clutch master; Replace it.
Top Tech Tip of the Day;
Get a big Syringe from the farm supply store & a short piece of tubing, and back bleed the system by forcing fluid from the slave bleeder nipple back to the clutch master.
