Way back in the mid seventies I flipped the top of the air cleaner on dads new Chevy Impala 350. Forgot to flip it back when I came home and when he took the carthoughtthere wasan engineproblem!!! Note to son: do not mess with dads ride!!!

 

Pros: Throttle response, 0-5 HP gain, 0-4 ft.lb. gain, makes old people's dentures fall out when you rip by

Cons: $$$, lies about unrealistic gains, sounds more powerful than it is, can't hear the exhaust above 3000 rpms, draws attention from the authorities
