coming to the dark side! :)
Well... my gf has an 09 accord ex coupe. We've been driving the heck outta that thing for awhile now. Im impressed with it. I come to find out my buddy is selling his wifes 98 accord coupe 2.3 5spd. 234k on it for cheap. Knowing how well it was takien care of I couldnt pas it up. So I know have it. It needs the master and and slave cylinder replaced for the clutch. I plan on doing that tomorrow evening. I joined the forum here to maybe find some tips or suggestions on a "how to" for this. I have looked a little bit already and basically seems striaght forward. Just need some tlc with the fitings and bolts. I have dot 3 and 4 brake fluid. I read that this is adequate for the fluid.should I use something else maybe? Well im looking forward to saving lots of gas money driving this car. Apposed to my 02 avalanche currently getting 11mpg to work and back.
welcome to Accord 5 spd ownership - and less gas money.
Forum is good for detail support, especially if you can photograph or describe issues.
FWIW - I just posted up a thread on 5 spd tranny https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...t-fluid-54335/
