Default Conclusion to my steering problem

I have a conclusion to my steering propblem. I had a mechanic from R toyhouse, those of you who are familar with the Phoenix Az. area know that it is a import racing shop. Well the mechanic came and said that I had air in my powersteering line and that I need to bleed it. Well I was woundering if anybody knew how to bleed the powersteering setup.

I don't know what year/car??

It should be self-bleeding, unless certain years are strange. Turn your steering fully lock-to-lock which may cause the PS reservoir to foam up. Give it an hour to settle & refill if needed. Maybe you'll need to do this a couple times.

There's another potential problem if that doesn't help. The PS reservoir normally has a fine screen down low in the reservoir. If that's clogged with crud, it'll starve the suction side of the pump. Then it'll continue to draw more air into the system.

If it's getting air into the system and the fluid is foaming up check the suction hose for holes. A pump seal can cause it also.
