Default condensor fan removal

hey so i looked around and couldnt find an answer to my question, and could not find an answer. plus this may help future members...

i have a 1997 accord lx, i believe this issue can relate to many cars!

my condensor fan died, bought a new one at a salvage yard and i went to take it off, it seems someone tried replacing it in the past as the left top bolt mount is cracked!

well its stuck on, and the nut holding the bolt spins when i try to loosen it...

i would like any ideas on how to get this bolt out, i am going to grind down a 10mm wrench and try that if nobody answers, but i dont want to ruin a perfectly good wrench to do this job.

any ideas

Which bolt are you talking about, the bolt that holds the fan shroud to the radiator? Or is the a bolt holding the fan body to the shroud?

I've always had to remove lower front dust cover and remove the lower bolts retaining the fan shroud to remove.

Also, I always removed radiator fan first to access the condensor fan. It may be possible to remove condensor fan by itself, but it for sure willl be difficult.

good luck

Using my 95, and the top bolts...needle nose vise grips? Then a little wd40, PB blastser or your favorite....
