"Dude"...people are trying to help. Maybe the questions are not being understood. I can and will say this. I'm willing to to bet the people trying to help you have dealt with more "no start" Honda's than you've ever seen....yes, the questions may seem strange.....give us a chance.

Two of your posts so far seem like you want to be an ..., we can help.....give the answers to the questions...please....on here we like to test before replace.

You got to kinda watch through the 19 min. One and it will end up showing you the basics of the the coil and igniter. The second one is to test the firing system. Good luck.


hey man thanks for the awsome link!!! eric the car guy is awsome !! straight to the point , good videos , and very knowledgeable , now thats what i call getting to the point i will be testing the internal parts of the distributer now

here is a question for you guys if u buy a new distributer , does it comes with all new internal parts, Igniter, Coil, Rotor . ETC and does the engine need to be re timed

You can buy just the distributor housing, which doesn't come with the igniter, rotor, coil (if internal) or you can buy a whole distributor (which come with it).

You normally should check and set the timing after installing a new distributor on a 1992 Accord.

I would use a timing light to set the spark timing if you change the distributor. There's a few degrees of manufacturing variation, so I wouldn't count on it being the same.

Not in 1992. That didn't start until 1996.
