Angry Confirmed Fix - a/c, No power to compressor

Hi, I have a 95 accord V6, Im not getting power to the a/c compressor, relays and fuses are all good. How do I test the a/c switch in the dash and the thermostat.
Compressor is new, I have power to the pressure switch, and diode.
Thanks.

The instructions to test the A/C switch and A/C thermostat are in the service manual. You can download the manual for the 94 cylinder Accord in the links provided in the "Common DIY and Info. Threads" located at the sticky at the top of this General Tech Help section. The same test procedures are applicable for your year V6.

Here is a description of how the circuit works.

Battery voltage is supplied through fuse 34 to the A/C compressor clutch relay contacts at all times. With the ignition switch in ON (II), voltage is applied to the coil of the A/C compressor clutch relay through fuse 8. When you push the A/C switch ON, and the heater fan switch is in position 1, 2, 3, or 4, a “ground” input is provided to the engine control module (ECM) through the A/C thermostat and the A/C pressure switch. The A/C compressor clutch relay is grounded by the engine control module (ECM). When energized, the relay allows battery voltage to energize the compressor clutch coil which then engages the clutch. The A/C ON indicator light comes on when the A/C system is running.

The a/c pressure switch has two wires. You verified one wire (red/?) has 12V. The other wire (blu/?) should have ~zero resistance to ground when the key is in the II position, a/c switch turned on, and the blower turned on.

I previously seen your idea/suggestion in the Mod Room and started with "Solved"; now, I am using both "solved" or "confirmed fix", as some are just resolutions to questions, etc. Saves time for everyone in search, helping, etc.
