Default Console power sockets

I have a new 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6. I was hard wiring my GPS receiver and my radar detector in a couple of minutes ago. I found something odd though. I went to plug a fuse pigtail into the fuse location for the Console power socket (#14). When I plugged the fuse I had power so I tried the other power socket, #40, and found the same thing.

I know that the actual sockets don't have power until you go to the ACC or ON on the ignition button. Does Honda switch power on after the fuses??? I did find another fuse marked ACC (#37) that power is applied to the fuse only after going to the ACC or On position on the ignition button.

use the ACC fuse. if you need more than one fuse, the no. 7 fuse is labeled "option" that may work for you if it's only powered with key on.

I did use the ACC fuse. It works like I want it to.
I had been using the OPT fuse, #7, but I wouldn't get power until the ignition was in the on position.

Thanks for your help.
