Ive been searching on the interwebs for a few hours today and i couldnt get much information on how to DIY convert to a push button / toggle switch ignition from a key turn type. i was wondering if anyone knew how and had a tutorial. It would be a modification to my 3rd gen (1989) manual transmition accord LX

 

would be nifty for sure, but there is no DIY on work like that, which would involve extensive electrical modification, not to mention security features that will need to be added. usually that type of ignition is regulated by the ecm.

like i said it would be a huge custom job.

i would go to a local car mod shop for audio/alarm and accessories
