Default coolant flush

I did some searcing but could not find anything aout how to flush the coolant out. I have a 97 accord, 2.2 non v-tech, automatic. what is the best way to flush the coolant. i dont need a new pump or anything, just want to get some new fluid in there. thanks fot the help.

One way is simple drain & fill.

Otherwise, I like to remove the T-stat & run lots of water through everything. Fill & drain a few times until the water comes out clear. Then fill & drain with distilled water.

Then put the T-stat back in, add full-strength antifreeze in 1/2 the capacity shown in the specs (probably just under 2 gallons so add just under 1 gallon). Then fill the remainder with distilled water to give it 50/50 mix.
