Coolant issue

Default Coolant issue

I pulled in my driveway and all the sudden I had steam coming out the hood definitely coolant I couldn't tell where it was coming from so I waited till it cooled off topped of the coolant n ran it till it was at temp then drove it n no leaks anywhere y did it do that 2000 Honda accord se

I'd probably stop by a parts store and get the radiator pressure tester loaner tool. Connect it to the radiator and pump up the system to around 16 psi. Does the system hold pressure at ~16 psi?

Do the same test on the radiator cap (it should hold pressure until the psi marking on the cap).

Next time there is steam, pop the hood and look. You should be able to see where it is coming from.

Last year I had steam coming out of the overflow tank because the coolant was hotter than it should be... turns out one of the cooling fans was not working. That was why I did not see a coolant leak on the concrete.

I figured it out it was the heater hose under the distributor right at the block new hose n hose clamps it's all dry now
