You are jumping the wrong sensor. That is the engine coolant temperature sensor that only the engine computer uses to read the coolant temp.

The engine coolant temp switch should have a green and a black wire going to it. On my 95 4-cylinder accord, the plastic connector was green as well. It should be near the thermostat housing.

lol I guess I misunderstood lol that connector is right at the thermo housing -- okay will look for a green one

So number 11 ?

Ok, I can report that when I jumper the proper switch, the fans do come on, but no power at the other plug (that was cut off from before)

I would think blue and black based on the diagram you found. My 94 shop manual for the 4-cylinder says blu/yel and black. What are the wire colors that were cut?

The codes are for the coolant temp sensor. You likely set the codes when you had the sensor unplugged and were shorting the connector. Just clear the codes and see if they return.

Back to your testing. What happened when you tested the relay socket that turned on the fans, but switched the test light to the + battery post.

The wires on the con fan (which are running both) are blu/yel and black. --- the ones on the rad fan (cut) are blu/black and black

and yes, the codes --- lol I had the plug still unplugged. will jumper, key on, test light to + Post and touch that relay plug..

ok, further testing.. I hooked up my torque pro, watched the temp reading.. it got to 183, fans never came on. I turned the fan control dial to 1, water temp started dropping, fans came on... So Im guessing faulty ect?
