never heard of this, but i'm guessing the only fix would be a new bumper

How are they "coming apart", like the bumper is separating from the fenders and rear panels? Stuff like that can usually be fixed by remounting the bumpers and tightening the screws in the wheel wells.

Screws missing? There are 5 screws holding the grille onto the bumper/radiator support. Then there are a few plastic rivets (1/4" or 3/8") holding the bumper cover onto the actual bumper. You will have to remove the bumper to get the bumper cover off. There are 2 12mm bolts on each side holding it on, then lift straight up and pull out. Then you can remove the cover, but that's pointless. Just loosen the 12mm bolts and line it up so the top of the bumper is flush with the headlights and the seams are tight between the fender and bumper cover. Tighten. Done.
