Hello- I am new to the forum so thanks in advance for any help and advice from the experts out there--

I have a 97 accord LX-Auto-4dr -the 12V power adapter and cd player dont work and all the fuses are good so is there a quick easy fix or do i need to take out half the center console to fix. I need the 12v for my cell phone/gps and would be nice to play a couple cds every now and then lol

Also the cruise control does not work -the button light and dash light both come on but when i push the buttons on the steering wheel nothing happens--please help a new guy to honda and new guy to working on cars thanks--

 

check your car with a code reader even if it has no cel, chances are the reader data link wont work, if thats the case the fuse is bad, or possibly the wire connector may have popped out of place.

my car does the same thing with the cruise, do this...
turn on cruise, engage buy presing lower button, then press and hold the top button. the car should accelerate, if it does adjust the cable from cruise unit to accelerator, i checked mine and its loose, about an inch of slack
