Default Courtesy lights. accord 2 litre VTEC 2003

Hi I have a problem with my interior / courtesy lights I have just purchased the car from a dealer and I mentioned to him before I collected the car that the interior lights were not working so he said he would check them out and fix them. I got the car from him and all seemed well he fitted a new rear tyre and rear brake pads and it seemed the interior light was now working then I drove home with my shiny new 2003 Honda when I got home I noticed that one of the two interior lights was flashing and then settled down after a shirt while I rechecked and then all manor of strange things started happening first one light would work and then the other would work sometimes they would switch from door to off but wouldn't come on then they wouldn't come on when I opened the door with the remote. And so it goes on. And last night as we were about to go to bed the wife noticed that the interior lights were on all on there own so I had to switch them of with the light switch in the centre of them its just a off and door switch position. Any help appreciated. just a thought is it the light unit assembly is there a programme in it?

Is the problem just with the dome light?

Yes its only the front dome light but hold hard for a while I may have cured it one of the bulbs had a bad filament and it was going of and on I suppose it was reconnecting itself anyway I borrowed a bulb from a rear interior light until I get some replacements at the moment all seems to be OK I will get back with an update

Definitely keep an eye on it, because I'm not sure how a slightly broken filament would cause the bulb to turn on.
