Default Courtesy lights issue

I dont know if i have courtesy lights. i see each door having a red glass but then i open it up i dont see any place to put a bulb and i dont see any bulbs either. Mine isnt fully loaded so i dont have power locks, power windows or anything. everything is manual. so could it be this car doesnt come with courtesy lights?

In 94-97 manual, you pop the lens out (pry bottom side up) to release lens. Bulb is an elongated 3.4w or 5w bulb similar to overhead light bulb.

good luck

If I remember, my 98 had a red reflector facing aft when you just crack open the door 1 or 2 inches. No bulb in there.

Then there's a white-lens light facing inwards that DOES have a bulb. Maybe the bulb is hanging on it's wire banging around inside the bottom of the door??
