Default cruise control and automatic transmission

Hello to you all, please i want to find out using the cruise control all the time in my accord 98, does it place an ease on the transmissions life? Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks

I suspect that using the cruise control will zero impact on the life of the auto transmission, either to worsen it - or to prolong it.

If you are the type of driver who always floors the gas pedal & drives in a harsh jerky manner, then cruise control should help.

If you're already accustomed to driving smoothly, then it probably won't help or hurt.
