I'm too lazy to look up your other thread, so I have no idea what kind of car you're talking about.

Brake switch stuck closed? Are you brake lights on full-time?

Clutch switch stuck? Do you have a manual tranny?

Bad cable-reel in the steering wheel hub? The "set" button doesn't connect properly to the cruise module?

I looked at his old thread: 94 lx coupe 5-speed - you might want to put this in your signature bud. Some members will not even respond unless you have this info in your signature.

Are you 100% sure your foot is completely off the clutch when you try to set the cruise? My foot cannot even be touching the clutch in my car for the cruise to work. Sometimes I'll try to set it and be like "What the..." then realize my foot is barely touching the clutch.

It's a BAD HABIT to rest your foot on the clutch pedal, Jon...

I kinda liked how sensitive the Honda was for that. On the Saabaru, you have to press the clutch down a bit before it cancels the cruise.

I have never had to troubleshoot the cruise control on my car. My best advice is to download a 94 shop manual from the spoon site I posted on the Online Manuals thread in the DIY section.
