Cool Cruise control quit working

My cruise control power push button still shows like cruise control should work on my 1995 Honda Accord, but when I push the button on the steering wheel to set the cruise, nothing happens and my cruise light on the dash doesn't light up.

Is your check engine light on or is the D4 light flashing when you are driving?

Do your brake lights on the back of the car work properly?

This is basic troubleshooting not a DIY "procedure". It belongs in the General Tech area, so I'll move it.

I'm betting it's the contact reel under the steering wheel;
Link for test;

On checks #3&4 wiggle/turn the steering wheel to see if there is intermittant voltage.

Default Cruise control trouble

Thanks for the advice hondadude. I noticed, while I was driving my car today, that the horn didn't work either. When I got home, I checked the connector under the steering wheel that you had sent me the diagram for, and everything looked OK there. I had already checked my fuse under the dash (7.5 amp) for the cruise control, but since the horn didn't work, I checked for the fuse (20 amp) for my horn under the hood. The fuse for the horn also powers the brake lights and it was a blown fuse. I replaced the 20 amp fuse and tried the horn and the brake lights and they worked fine. I took it out for a test drive after that and checked the cruise control and it worked fine then. The 20 amp fuse for the horn and the brake lights must also power the cruise control.

Thanks again for the help,
Saccy
