Default CV Axle shake/pulse

2005 Honda Accord V6 3.0

I changed the driver side lower control arm over the weekend. Upon doing so, my cv axle slipped out and I couldn't get the lower ball joint in. After some online reading, I was able to slip the cv axle back into place and complete the entire installation.

Now during acceleration my car starts to pulse/shake. it honestly surprised me and didn't want to damage anything, so I haven't driven pass 20 mph

I didn't have this issue prior to install.

Thoughts?

Does it have anything to do with the CV?

Best,

Andrew

Did the spider of the inboard CV joint pull out of the inner cup? I think you have to put it back in the exact same way (don't spin the spider before pushing it back in). Or you could have dislodged some of the needle bearings.

Or did the axle stub come unsnapped from the transmission internals. Maybe it's not snapped fully back in?

Thanks for the information, much appreciated. I'm not sure if I put the spider back in the same way the first time , just in case I didn't put it in the correct way the second time, I just installed a new CV axle and it feels great!
