Question CV half shaft removal 2008+ V6 trans seal HELP

The seal where my passenger side half shaft goes into the trans on my 2008 V6 is leaking. Can anyone post the procedure on how to replace this seal? I am looking for the Honda procedure if it is available. I've done a half shaft on my old '93 but this one looks different. There seems to be some sort of mid shaft bearing that I have not seen before. This is what is worrying me. I'd like to do this myself if possible. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

Got you PM. Never did this type of work on a V6.

The procedure will be similar to the 93. The extra step will be removing the intermediate shaft. I don't have an 08 shop manual, but I recommend purchasing one from automanualsource for ~$22, it is worth the investment when doing DIY work.

The V6 shop manual for the 03-07 V6 says to remove some parts of the exhaust to remove the intermediate shaft.

The other item you'll likely need is a seal driver to install the new seal. A properly-sized socket will likely work. Pay attention to how deep the original seal is installed. Also, be careful not to scratch metal where the outer part of the seal sits, as you would likely create a leak when removing the old seal. Keep the intermediate shaft centered when reinstalling as to not damage the inner seal.

Well, I am getting the seal and fluid today. I have obtained a service manual and am currently mustering up the guts to get the job done. Since they don't sell those at the Honda dealer, I need to create them myself!

I think I should be able to handle it.
