I know this is an Accord forum, but bear with me. My mom told me her CEL came on (or MIL "Malfunction Indicator Lamp" in ritzy Acura terms) in her 2004 MDX Touring. I went to Checker and read the code and I got a P030A Cylinder 1 misfire code. I erased the code and the light went out and didn't come back on when I drove home. If it does come back on and reads the same code what are some possible problems that could cause it? The engine is the 3.5L J35A3 V6 w/ VTEC and everything is stock.

 

Bad spark plug usually or the wires. Do those have coil on plug?
