Exclamation Dash is dead need help !

hey i just got myself a 1989 accord exi yesterday, the front end had been backed into so i was in the process of replacing the headlights, bumper cover ect.. i got the headlights wired up and working, but now when i start the car my dash is basically dead. my turn signals dont work, the rpm guage doesent move, the clock doesent turn on, basically everything electric on the dash is shut off. Iv tried looking for blown fuses but cant find any. Any ideas of where i should start looking ? wires ect.. let me know ASAP please !!!

sorry for the rant about whats wrong haha

Does the car start? Check that all ends of both battery cables are clean and secure.

You should try to isolate where you are missing power. Did you check the fuses in the under dash fuse box?

I would turn the key to the position when the car is running. Check for 12V at one of the terminals at the #1 fuse in the under dash fuse box.

yeah like the car starts and drives fine, the speedo works and everything. the hazards turn on , but the indicators dont ? i checked the fuses in both the engine bay and under the dash and cant find any that are blown. everything was working fine up until i wired up the new headlights, maybe something is shorting out ?
