Default dies while driving

hey, I posted earlier on same subject and have a few more questions. When replacing ignition switch do you replace the whole key and lock assembly with harness, or just the electrical part that attaches to it? also can the icm cause the shut off condition or does it just go bad and not work anymore? thanks for help.

Default

Ignition switch replacement is only the electrical switch assy.

ICM usually fail completely in my experience, but I have read of others who had intermittent. Most anything can be intermittent, but this is less likely to be intermittent than the ignition coil.

good luck
