Default Difficult to start when engine cold

Mine is 96 Accord LX, I think engine is F22B2. I just bought her from an old lady 2 weeks ago, she has 205k now. couple of issues:

1. Yesterday it was cold outside, about 2 degree C, I had to crank the engine a 5 times, each for around 5 seconds, actually scared me cause it was late in the night and I was outside the city, won't expect that happen again.

2. Engine light was on when Ibought her, I took her to the garage, the techsaid nothing serious, just low feedback voltage fromOxygen sensor(primary I think),the CEL came off after checking the code, and came back on again after two days. Should I just buy a new one ? it's 260 bucks from the Honda dealer, but i couldget oneon the website for about 70-80 bucks, which should I get? What brand is good for Honda?

3.Hearing knocking sound on my right side when drive over small bumps, I am suspecting the sway link? not sure ifboth front and back are bad.

4. Hearing continous clicking sound when make left turn, bad axle or cv joint? I believe it's getting worse.

5. Last one is a scary problem. I used cuise control the other day, and I set speed around 80km/hr, after a while i decided to disengage the cruise, I just simplely push the cruise button off located at the left of the steering wheel. What happened is she would not slow down or stop even after I tried braking. For a second I just thought maybe the gas pedal was stuck. I tried to pull the gas pedal back, wouldn't work. then I engage the foot brake hard enough to make it slow down and put it in neutral, theRPM went up high like 4 or 5000, after a few seconds, it slowed down and shut the enine off and start the car again, everthing was back to normal.what that could be?

I know it's going to cost me $$$$$ while I am still a student, try to troubleshoot them myself to save some dollars. I would really appreciate that if someone can giveme some help, thanks very much!

1) Suggest starting w/ basics; plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. You can remove plugs clean and gap. Wires can be checked by resistance measurement or simply spraying at night w/ a mist of water. Any sparks jumping from wires means new wires are indicated. Inspect distributor cap and rotor carefully for cracks or simply replace (fairly cheap).

2) Replace O2 sensor. I have never used OEM and have installed used or aftermarket. Check ebay for used O2 sensors for lowest replacement price. The universal type are cheapest option.

3) Knocking sound is likely sway bar bushings (replace all). Hopfully not a loose ball joint. Check for ruptured ball joint boot.

4) Inspect CV joints. You likely have a ruptured boot and no grease in the joint. New CV axle required. See DIY section for replacement instructions.

5) You may have at least twoproblems; defective cruise on/off switch andfailed brake light switch (have you checked your brake lights are working? ). No brake lights means switch is always open and cannot cut cruise off. When you braked and reduced speed below set point, cruise tried to increase speed back to set point and trans shifted down increasing rpms. Ultimate safety is to turn keyswitch to OFF. You need to confirm that you can't turn keyswitch to park/lock position w/ trans in D4. You don't want to lock the steering at 80 km/hr!

good luck
