Dipped Headlights Keep Blowing - 04 Accord
Hi there
I have a 2004 2.2 Diesel Accord and my dipped headlights keep blowing after a few weeks - at this stage I must be the star customer in local garage for replacement lights.
Fuses have been checked and replaced but at best I get about 4 or 5 weeks for each bulb - driving me nuts.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Instructions w/ the bulbs warn against contamination of the bulb surface w/ grease or body oils (damn I'm not that oily!). I've always tried to be careful, but never wore gloves and so far no particular problems.
If you don't have a Volt-Ohm Meter, you can buy a Battery Monitor from Walmart for about $15. This is a very handy device to plug into the cigarette light socket and monitor voltage full time. I keep one and frequently check cars to see what voltage is doing.
good luck
