hi guys! my ride is accord 98 AT. i really dont know if i can explain this well the prob with my car is this, this happen often and i dont know whats causing it.
the throttle doesnt respond accurately like when im driving on a third gear then a car in fron of me stop, of course il slow down to and prepare for overtake, but when i push the gas, it seems like its not giving enuf power, rpm roar from 1000 to 2000 only as if its choking on 2000 and cant get thru, when i push the gas down the floor and force the throttle, a misfire is heard from exhaust then my rpm will go higher 2000 and the car will speed up as well... engine so mad that i have to release the gas after...

so this what i think is happening, running on third gear, when i slow down, tranny wont gear down so its having a hard time pushing the car. it happens usually after 30 minutes i start and drive my car.

my car is all stock, as in all stock and is well maintain. new oil, batt, spark plugs, filter. no prob exep for this only and started last october.

Stop by an auto parts store and have them scan for codes, then post the code on here. They codes start with the letter P and have four numbers, like P1234.

When was the transmission fluid last changed?
