Default Door! Help

Today after work i noticed, for the first time, cuz i know it has never happened to me before, but my car signaled my door was opened.
The dashboard display of the open doors in the car. It signaled that the driver's side door was opened.
I can make it go off by pulling on the door, but it comes back on. And if i push on it, it turns on too.

Has this ever happened to anyone? How can i fix it? What can i do to check wat it is and solve the problem?

Like i said it has never happened before. PLease help.

Sounds like that little button switch in the door jamb is out of place, or messed up somehow.

What is the door striker? And where is it?
It is a metal 'hook' mounted on the door pillar; 2 big phillips head screws.
run a pencil around it before you break it loose. you'll want to move it in about 1/8" but not up or down.
