Does anyone have a write up for how to remove and install a door lock actuator on a 97 accord 4 door sedan lx model?? fot the front driver door, its making a lot of noise when i lock the car. thanks

 

The Online Manuals thread in the DIY section links to site with a 94 shop manual.

Its simple to do, except there is not much space to easily remove the bolts.

You will have to remove the door panel, then lift the lower corner of the plastic protective sheet. Unplug and unbolt the actuator. Installation is the reverse.

Use the new actuator as a reference to see where the bolts are located. I did mine my feeling around back there. A mechanics mirror may help a lot.
