Default Door Lock

This one is weird, just purchased a 1998 Honda Accord LX with 128K miles. I cannot lock/unlock all the doors with the key from the outside. The central lock on the driver's side does not work. With the power window switch on, only the driver and left passenger windows will go up and down from the driver's door. The right passengers' windows will not respond. My guess is that the control module is bad. But why will only half of the doors work? Help

This may seem kind of odd but give it a try: Turn the ignition off, move the intermittent wiper control ring to the middle possition, then turn the ignition on. Does that get everything going?
