Default door locks

hey guys, my car has auto locks and for some reason when ilock my car and close the door it keeps on locking by itself. probably every 5-15 seconds you can hear the car lock itself. i dont know why its doing that. the cars passenger side lock was punched in cuz someone tried to steal it, would that have anything to do with it?

thanks

btw its a 94 accord lx

my fiances car recently started doing that. i haven't looked into it and should..heh.. i'm thinking it has to do with the switch.possibly from water damage over the years or just worn contacts, iono yet.

Often times the drivers door lock actuator is the cause. It is the Primary of the system.
There is a little tab inside the actuator that breaks loose from spring tension on it.
