Door Locks Clicking

Door Locks Clicking
96 Honda Accord LX 2.2 Manual
Just a couple days ago, when I push my "set alarm" button to lock the car, the car still locks but there is a horrible noise that sounds like a "clicking/grinding" type of sound...like the locks are trying to set itself over and over again. After about 10 seconds it stops until next time I get in the car and lock the doors (well, they go down automatically when I start the car and the doors are shut. I can't tell exactly where the noise is coming from, but it sounds like on the drivers side in the door???
Please give me a tutorial on how to fix this and where I can get parts at a reduced rate (online maybe???)
Thank you.
peace out,
daddy

RE: Door Locks Clicking
it needs to be diagnosed properly but most likely you got a bad driver's side door lock actuator
to replace it you need to remove the door panel, raise the window up, remove the lower 10mm bolt for the window guide , unplug the actuator, remove the 2-3 small phillip screws and pull the actuator out
when you reinstall it ,, you got to make sure to line up the small pin into the opening in the door latch , reinstall the small screws and put everything back together
as for buying it online........http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
