Doors UNlock on Key Off?

Doors UNlock on Key Off?
2000 Accord LX...
Enter vehicle normally, key to ign ON, doors auto lock appropriately.
Turn key to off, remove key, doors do NOT auto UNlock.
We have to hit the unlock switch to unlock the doors.
Is this normal for this model?
We just inherited this Honda, I'm new to making these things run.

I think that is normal but I've never owned a 2000.
If it did not come with an owners manaul, I'm pretty sure you can enter you car information with Honda and then download one from them....or search the web for other places where you can get one.
