I used a 3/8" breaker bar, with (I think it was) a 14mm socket, and a piece of pipe over the handle of the breaker bar. I relieved the tension from the belt, and slipped the old belt off of the tensioner first, then released the tensioner and removed the belt from the other pulleys. To install the new belt I routed the belt around all the other pulleys first, then did the tensioner pulley last. Easy.

How do you know how far to readjust the tensioner pulley?

 

I don't know of an online manual for a 2003 Accord. The tensioner pulley is self adjusting. You just take the tension off to install the belt and release it. You may be able to get a service adviser at a dealership to run off a copy from their service manual for something related to changing the belt such as changing the alternator. I don’t think they would have just changing the belt. If you find an online manual for a 2003 please let us know. You can always order a factory service manual I believe it is around eighty dollars, but a good investment.
